NYSPI IRB is the psychiatric institute's in-house research ethics committee, involved in ensuring that the human subjects research in the psychiatric institute comply with the mandates set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations and other codes of research conduct.As a student intern, I have:- Attended clinical trial and laboratory studies' protocol review meetings, which have helped familiarize me with IRB review processes.- Mastered the 45 CFR 46.- Completed a scholarly research on the ethics of drug self-administration in non-clinical human studies.- Spearheaded a grant research.

• Collected patients’ feedback concerning hospital care.• Computed and relayed this feedback to the administrative team.• Initiated a time-saving method of collating feedback which was adopted by the volunteer team.
