The Downtown Springfield Association is a non-profit 501c6 community development organization that draws thousands of patrons to its iconic and family-friendly events each year. These events are key to attracting new businesses and residents for Downtown’s continued revitalization.

Familiarizing guests with menu and daily specials, accurately recording food and drink orders, running multi-course meals, and tallying bills. Menu knowledge: Memorize details of daily specials and seasonal menu items.

Worked with other representatives to promote events across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Helped introduce a new logo and changed the organization's branding. Created merchandise for current students, alumni, and guest speakers. Designed a new PowerPoint template for organization meetings.

The PGA Web.com Tour was a main priority from this internship. Helped market and promote special events: auctions, fashion shows, and golf tournaments. Execute auction item procurement to be up for bid to donate to local children's charities.

Greeting customers and responding to questions to provide great customer service. Operated cash registers and balancing drawers. Directing customers to merchandise within the store with great product knowledge.
