Accountant/Office Manager/Human Resource/DispatcherCurrently my job is demanding, as I am an individual that wears many hats within this family business. I provide the services needed to keep up with Accounts Payable/Receivable, payroll using QuickBooks, Collections, reconciling monthly statements and monthly/quarterly/and annual taxes. As Office Manager, I oversee 4 individuals. I am responsible for ordering office supplies, making sure protocol is followed, and resolving issues that may arise while dealing with the public. I also answer phones, file, fax, prepare estimates, bids, and assistant my follow co-workers with any tasks they may need. My role in Human Resource has been a learning experience. I am responsible for enrolling the employees in health benefits, dental & vision. Providing information about Simple IRA, and any questions employees may have about what the company offers and what their medical/dental/vision plan offers. Finally as dispatcher, I am responsible for booking loads for a Kentworth truck/trailer. I have only one driver and the goal is to maintain $2.00 per mile travel, and currently I have been able to average $2.36 per mile. I use the truckstop.com and map out his route picking up loads and dropping off, leading up to the weekend when I am able to get him home for the weekend. In addition to booking loads I am also responsible for completing new vendor packets, IFTA, and handling accounts payable & accounts receivable, as well as collections for this company.

As a bank teller, my job was to handle transactions for members such as deposits, cashing pay checks, printing statements, or completing money order transaction. I also helped with loan applications, bank reconcilement, daily files that were pulled in and out. In addition, I answer phone calls, faxed, make copies, and file paper work. Open new accounts and assist with ordering checks and debit cards. Within my short time here I was given the responsibility to open and close the Credit Union, run the monthly reports, and assist in whatever area I was needed in.

As an assistant, my job was to pull daily reports and check for BSA compliance. I also monitor reports for abnormal behavior, and report to the board of findings. I also help with audits such as lending audits and compliance. I answer phone calls, made copies, and file paper work. I complete monthly and quarterly reports for the board. Reconcile the ATM, charge-offs and recovers for (DDA, Savings, and Loans), report employee overdraft and teller outages.

InternshipAs an intern I was very hands on with the proofing work. I imported and exported Fed files daily, processed tellers work and done the keying, and help the other proof operator with reconciliation expense account.

I am trained to help the customer with any questions they may have about an item. My main duties are to stock, clean, and run the cash register. I also help set weekly mods, photo lab, and the front end when needed.
