Manage all aspects of projects focus principally on interior renovation of campus spaces, including uses such as classrooms, offices, dining facilities, athletics and dorm upgrades. This new position will focus on the improvement and standardization of project delivery processes and methodology, including project intake, resource utilization, budgeting, cost accounting, governance and project tracking.

Responsibilities and accomplishments include:• Driving global consistency in the workplace. In partnership with the firm’s Global Branding and regional Real Estate teams, bringing the firm’s brand to life in the workplace environment through the alignment with the brand purpose and values with a “one look, one feel” design approach while providing flexibility for regional distinction and local requirements. • Launched a global request for proposal (RFP) for all furnishings and carpeting. RFP resulted with a projected cost avoidance of 28% for carpet and 6% for furnishings worldwide.• Catalyst for the development of global workplace guidelines and standards. Document includes General Principals + Guidance, Base Building Considerations, Workplace Design Principles and Technical Performance specifications.• Managing and leveraging related professional services, vendor contracts and performance, global product evaluation and selection, design standards, training, brand signage implementation and benchmarking within the industry.• Catalyst for the implementation of the first new global standard retail branch built in the USA. Entailed the coordination of a team of more than 30 people. Design began in April and the branch opened August of the same year.• Developed and maintain website to provide global access to Corporate and Retail standards, guidelines and project information.

Managed Corporate and Hospitality interior design projects from the development of the initial proposal to final installation.• Responsible for project budgets, team management, client relationships, workplace analysis, contract documents, specifications and contract administration.

Developed and maintained the Global Corporate Services (GCS) environmental sustainability (ES) framework, policies and procedures, working closely with the firm’s environmental subcommittee and business units to ensure total integration with the firm’s overall goals and strategy. Efforts included facilitating organizational objectives, targets and goals, identifying and developing necessary metrics for comprehensive internal and external reporting and for communicating with employees through various events. Led activities of GCS, detailing core elements that will enhance ES strategies that support the firm’s longstanding commitment to the fundamental principles of corporate social responsibility.

Managed and maintained the firm’s corporate art collection worldwide with the focus on art education. Curate university student art exhibits and receptions for employees and artists.

Developed and maintained in collaboration with business units and project groups the workplace strategy for the firm’s national locations, coordinating with global constituents to provide consistency across the firm with recognition of business unit needs and cultural differences. Responsible for professional services and vendor contracts and performances, product evaluation and selection, design and engineering standards, high profile design projects, management of the corporate art collection and benchmarking within the industry.

•Developed product availability and cost analysis for then current workplace standards worldwide. •Collaborated with peers and the US Branch Projects Group teams in the implementation and roll out of the new team process. Analyzed the success of the new teams via a 360 degree survey, interviews and cost evaluations.•Researched workplace trends and incorporated into firm’s standards when applicable.

Led the interior design team and was responsible for the interior concept of the new 1.8 million square foot Hopewell Campus. The goal of the campus is to provide flexible space options for multiple end users and the ability to reconfigure quickly at minimum cost. The design included the ability for the buildings to be leased and secured for external multi tenant occupancy should ML reduce occupancy at this site. Site included eight office buildings and four multi use buildings.

Developed and managed a new Branch Office Design and Engineering department.•Collaborated with Operations Procurement Services, Insurance & Risk and the Office of General Council to develop scope of work and national service agreements with product manufacturers, dealer services and design professionals. •Worked with Planning, Leasing, Construction, and Telecommunications peers to improve the project delivery process and client satisfaction.•Developed, documented and implemented new design & engineering guidelines. •Participated in many task forces including Alternative Work Arrangements, Technology, and USPC Branch “Office of the Future”.
