Responsible for overall operations, asset protection, and marketing/public relations for GHC, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, providing emergency housing for those with homes. Oversee all accounting functions including those necessary for auditing, budgeting, financial analysis, capital asset, property management and payroll. Provide human resource management for all employees incluing hiring and termination, developing job descriptions, setting compensation, and applying board-approved employee policies and benefits in accordance with federal and state requirements, regularly coordinates and supervises staff, members and volunters. Responsible for grant writing, grant and contract management, monitors progress of agreements and maintains agreement documentation to ensure fulfillment of agreement terms. Assists in development of current and long-term organizational goals and objectives and implementing them. Work with agencies and service providers to facilitate case coordination and information sharing of mainstream benefits. Is responsible for public relations and maintaining a positive image for the organization. Attend meetings on behalf of GHC and perform public speaking and presentations as part of fund raising, awareness and public relations.

Provided case management for therapeutic foster children removed from their biological parents due to severe abuse or neglect. Trained, and supervised foster families to meet state requirements. Supervised foster parents and the placement of children in foster homes. Completed and provided the state with documentation of services provided to children. Performed annual home safety evaluations and Criminal Abuse and Neglect/CAN checks along with Kentucky State Police background checks on all potential foster families to determine eligibility. Performed monthly audits on all files and records to check for deficiences. Supervised staff in absence of the director and trained new foster care specialist. Created individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic needs of the children with attainable goals. Assist foster parents with the adoption process and serve as an advocate for the children during termination of parental rights.

Provided budget counseling and financial guidance to individuals experiencing financial crisis through my certification with the National Foundation for Consumer Credit Counseling.
