Transitions… they occur every day. Sometimes those transitions (or changes) are neither anticipated nor desired, and we feel a bit out of control of life. Let me give you some examples: we might lose a spouse, get demoted, downsized or fired from a job, have a life-altering medical issue, become an “empty-nester,” become a caregiver, maybe just feel disenchanted with what you are doing or your work/life balance. We are thrust into a labyrinth of thoughts, emotions and maybe even, fears. We become immobilized. That’s where coaching can help. From a business perspective, we might be dealing with market changes that force us to make changes (growth or reduction) within our organization; perhaps we need to re-evaluate workforce makeup and are unsure of how the outcome will affect the company culture; or we know we have to embark on a strategic planning process and are unsure of where to start. These activities might cause us to become immobilized. That’s where coaching can help.In either case, whether it’s personal or business, there are some common threads and a sequence of activities we need to work through. With MM Transitions Coaching, there are five basic steps: clear intentions, discovery/exploration, barriers or resistance, research, and development of an action plan. Please reach out to me via my LinkedIn profile to explore how my services can benefit you and/or your organization.
