As a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group at Certilman Balin for many years, I represented developers on all aspects of property development, including the sale of new homes (homeowner’s associations, condominiums and cooperative apartments), borrowers and lenders on commercial mortgages, landlords and tenants on lease transactions and individual buyers and sellers of commercial properties and private homes. I worked with Zodiac Title Services in business development for a year, utilizing my expertise in real estate transactions to deliver enhanced services to my clients. When Zodiac closed its business, for my present position as General Counsel of The Crest Group, a company which owns commercial and residential properties. I have always been very active in my community, and some of the charitable causes and organizations I dedicate my time to include: The American Heart Association, the Mentoring Partnership of Long Island, the March of Dimes, the Cooley's Anemia Foundation, the Five Towns Community Chest, Peninsula Counseling Center and Women's American ORT, Long Island Chapter of the International Association of the Corporate Real Estate Executives (CoreNet) and the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI). In addition, I am involved with my alma maters, Cornell University (Cornell Club of Long Island) and Hofstra School of Law (served for 10 years as Vice-Chair of Hofstra University's Advisory Board).
