The main objectives I achieved in this temporary position were: 1. Developed the S&D (Sales & Distribution) Operating Model post M-ERP go-live, and established related metrics reporting, causing controlled process alignment to new ways of working, greater cross-functional visibility of shipping requirements/performance, and enhanced partnership with LSP (Logistics Service Provider). 2. Maintained stability by managing the site's outbound flow process to proactively ensure shipping readiness, inventory reduction, and enhanced cash flow. 3. Transition the role to the site's third-party warehouse operations team.Additional achievements included:• Collaborated with Supply Manager and Supply Planners to logistically manage transportation and proper billing of new generic products from bailment through FCA transition.• Evaluated GSK Zebulon’s Shipment Right First-Time performance, performed root cause analyses and instituted preventive actions that significantly improved performance and met the site's objective.• Monitored site’s finished goods inventory level and provided periodic forecasts to leadership for proactive decision making and corrective actions. It was created from an initiative to transition all GSK North American Consumer Healthcare site's Management Accounting responsibilities into the NA SMAS hub. My main purpose was to act as lead support for the GSK Aiken (Cx) Finance Partners, which included Trial Balance & consolidated site financial reporting, BISON dashboard submission, and Site Performance reporting for their use in strategic decision making.Additional responsibilities included:• Recorded and reported Production variances and Recoveries for all North American Consumer Healthcare manufacturing sites.• Recorded and reported Sales, Returns, Cost of Sales for all North American Consumer Healthcare manufacturing sites, that related to intercompany, third party and free of charge shipments.• Assisted with Profit on Shipment reconciliation and Intercompany Profit Tracking to identify variances that needed to be resolved or explained.In June of 2016, the NA SMAS hub was informed that it's service was to be transferred to GSK's Latin American SMAS hub.
