Administrative AssistantPura Vida Elite Training Oct 2021 - Feb 2022Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, United States๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐I did administrative work: completed various tasks and projects, contacted new parents (Spanish & English-speaking) about Pura Vida Elite Training, and did errands (ie. Home Depot, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, etc.). I assisted my supervisor with tasks and projects given to me through text and calls, while sharing updates and progress reports. I communicated with parents (ie. in-person, email, website chat, text, calls) and answered questions about Pura Vida Elite Training's services and training expectations. I reached out to new Latino parents to discuss such information and the online player registration process. Additionally, I reached out to players before and after their "First Pura Vida Experience" training sessions to outline arrival expectations and next steps for continued training. We got new players to register for private, semi-private, or group sessions! I also contacted players to confirm enrollment in an invitational specialized striking and shooting camp in December 2021. I called local taco truck vendors to check availabilities and taco pricing rates for 60+ people and 1.5 hours preparing and serving lunch at that event. I then sent invoices for registration and attendance. Moreover, I inventoried 19 new products with varying brands (ie. Nike, Adidas, Flint & Tinder), sizes (Y & A), and colors. I organized items in jumbo ziplock bags and placed them in cabinets and included numbers in WIX platform online store. I sold items in-person to parents and sent invoices accordingly. The La Cantera App launched in November 2021 and I assisted parents with player profile registration and answered questions and concerns. Furthermore, to get feedback on prospective future training times for La Cantera Development Age Groups, I created a survey on SurveyMonkey and got 30+ responses. I also participated in a website transition phase into MindBody, joining meetings and sharing ideas.

Director Marketing CommunicationsInter Minneapolis Fc Feb 2021 - Jan 2022Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐I was a board member for Inter Minneapolis FC, a semi-professional team in the United Premier Soccer League since February 2021. I proposed innovative event planning ideas, gave feedback, edited social media graphics and textual content, and supported marketing development. I mainly communicated with the Marketing Coordinator, as well as with the CEO, COO of first team, and COO of second team. I wanted to be part of something new, creating change and integrating my experiences and love for soccer in Minnesota. I strongly wanted to see the team's deep commitment to diversity, inclusion, enthusiasm, and success grow with each passionate player and member that joins the journey. Using the design platform, Canva, I planned, designed, edited, and executed posts on our social media pages (ie. website, Facebook, and Instagram) to promote tryouts, matches, giveaways, etc. with our running hashtag #interiscoming. Posts I created within the first month or two performed 75% better than past posts on Facebook, ultimately reaching 1,000+ public viewers and having 100+ engagements per week. I learned more about Facebook business advertising by taking one of their courses to improve our social media outreach with marketing tools and branding tips. I took a lot of photos at home/away games and trainings to post behind-the-scenes content. I also initiated a connection and Zoom meeting with a local video producer/director and Podiumwear Custom Sports Apparel to plan and film a soccer jersey reveal promo hype video as well as a highlights video at the end of the season. Being from Argentina with a strong cultural soccer background has led me to always watch and play the sport. I coached youth summer camps, played in intramural leagues, competitive travel and club and high school soccer, and joined the U.S. Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program as one of the 20 MN 1997 State team players for 4 consecutive years! -
Freshwater InternThe Nature Conservancy May 2021 - Aug 2021Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐I was the Freshwater Intern for the Freshwater Program of TNC's MN-ND-SD Chapter. I accomplished many different projects throughout the summer: organized 12 informational interviews with internal and external professionals, assisted staff with field work at restoration sites across MN, got involved in GIS work creating maps and organizing data for conservation and restoration projects, supported DEIJ goals of the DEIJ and the Providing Food & Water teams, took meeting minutes, and attended online webinars. I worked with many TNC staff members within the chapter, but more closely with the 10 staff of the Freshwater Program. Most of the time I worked with my supervisor to complete quick tasks, but I also assisted staff with longer, tedious projects, such as GIS, rough write-ups, presentation templates, etc. I became very productive and learned a lot during my experience. I participated in the planning and execution of goals for 5+ TNC restoration projects, which led me to hands-on field work at various restoration sites. In my first week, I cut up 125 weed mats (3'x3' squares) for a tamarack tree planting event at Cold Spring Fen in May 2021. I also called 4 nurseries to check seed mixes and cord grass plugs availabilities and get quotes for cost per pound. I attended donor site visits and went to the SE MN Driftless Area for plant surveying at 3 restoration sites. Moreover, I created 6 GIS maps for an Elk River conservation project dealing with the implementation of floodplain protection strategies, managed data of 2 wild rice SSURGO seamless coverage mapping projects for Peatland Playbook, organized data for 17 SE MN Outdoor Heritage Fund projects, and attended a training to identify restorable wetlands. Furthermore, I presented the history of Dakota communities in MN, participated in Indigenous trainings online, and researched the history of MN BIPOC farmers for a rough draft of a DEIJ plan. -
Sustainability InternSpark-Y Jun 2019 - Aug 2019Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐I served as one of the 30 Sustainability interns for the annual summer internship program at Spark-Y Youth Action Labs. I was responsible to maintain the communal garden space 3 days per week at the Minneapolis Public Schools Culinary & Wellness Services building by weeding, planting, and harvesting the many fruits, vegetables, and herbs growing and available to the community. I designed and constructed an outdoor education space along with a produce preparation sink and table space for easy handling of the produce harvested from the garden. This is located outside, adjacent to the entrance of the building to encourage accessible sustainable living for the MPS youth and the local Minneapolis community. I worked with the organization's Urban Farm Manager who was also the team project supervisor, assisting in weekly hands-on garden maintenance and proper agricultural techniques and plant care. Along with the professional staff, I worked closely with my 2 other project team members to direct the maintenance of the garden and the creation of the outdoor education space. Except on days we had Professional Development workshops, the majority of my time was spent on-site at the garden and elaborating on my urban farming expertise. Before having started the construction of the outdoor learning space, we had to budget $2,800 for the construction materials and prepare 3 proposals presented to the MPS staff directing the project. I also designed a custom wood sign to be created and placed at the entrance of the building to attract and welcome the youth and community to the garden and outdoor learning space. -
'Writing Enriched Curriculum' Program Writing AnalystUniversity Of Minnesota College Of Agriculture, St. Paul, Mn Mar 2019 - Jun 2019Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐As a writing analyst I raised awareness on the various writing attributes undergraduate students are exposed to in their courses, specifically focusing on the Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management department within the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I worked with 2 other undergraduate students and my supervisor, Kristen Nelson, a Forestry professor at the university. We met once per week to plan out our communication tools and end-of-semester panel event. In preparation for our panel event, I sent out emails seeking the availability of professionals in environmental/natural resources, governmental, and corporate fields. We created the list of communication strategies on various writing attributes and surveyed undergraduate students to inform them about the programโs goals. The 44 responses consisted of individual and personal opinions to the following questions:โข Where do you find information about ESPM courses?โข Do you find tabling on a small-scale an effective way to learn about a topic?โข What do you believe are the best ways for students to find out about writing?โข Are you aware of the different types of writing assignments in each ESPM class?โข Where do you get help on your writing assignments?(ie online writing tools, peers, teaching assistant, professor, UMN Writing Center, none)โข Do you write intentionally for course assignments, in hopes of developing a career skill? The panel event we hosted on-campus consisted of a $300 budget dedicated for a wide selection of healthy food and drink options. We ended up having 20 attendees (students and faculty) and 3 professionals from economics (Cargill Inc.), policy (MN Environmental Quality Board), and land management (MN DNR Forestry division) sectors. They presented their experiences of writing in their fields, tips for successful writing, and guidance for current and future students.

Animal Care SpecialistFusion Pet Retreat Jun 2018 - Aug 2018Minnetonka, Minnesota, United States๐๐ฎ ๐๐ค๐ก๐I facilitated facility cleanliness by creating a clean and safe environment for the customers and the average 90 dogs, cats, and small mammals being kept in boarding, daycare, grooming, or training services. I was responsible for supervising 20 minute, rotational playgroup sessions of 10 dogs at a time, walking dogs on a leash throughout the facility, vigorously cleaning and sanitizing kennels, filling water bowls, and doing dishes and laundry. I also handled 30+ daily animal arrivals and departures from the lobby area to the kennels and vice versa, administering daily feedings to the animals, and appropriately tracking animals' eating, urinary, and bowel habits, especially for cats. I worked during the AM (6am-3pm) and PM (12pm-9pm) shifts and during weekends. I worked with 4-5 other animal care specialists plus the supervisor and kept active communication with walkie talkies to ensure smooth operations and quick reaction to arising situations. The daily transitional staff meetings from the AM to the PM shifts discussed positives and improvements, such as keeping an eye on the most energetic dogs, or reorganizing playgroup members to ensure animal safety. I cooperatively and effectively worked with my team to provide smooth facility operations and daily tasks. I independently completed tasks and greeted customers and animals in the lobby. I also had to be comfortable with dogs, cats, and small mammals of all breeds and sizes and identify an animal in distress or in need of veterinary care. This type of stressful and chaotic work environment demanded staying calm under pressure when more difficult situations arose, such as dogs running out energetically or frantically from their kennels and not listening to commands, or coworkers in negative demanding attitudes. However, I problem-solved these situations by asking for help, maintaining constant communication, and giving feedback to coworkers.
