Mitiga Solutions is a ‘deep tech’ start-up that helps clients understand and act on their exposure to climate change through its platform EarthScan. Led the post-Series A, bottom-up creation of the marketing/comms function across the full stack.

Worked with two scale-ups in based in Silicon Valley as multi-year clients: LotusFlare (Telecoms) & iMerit (Data Services). Created both their entire marketing stack from scratch, working closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to transform technical concepts into impactful marketing assets. ●Strategic messaging & branding: brand identity creation, website design & development. ●Content marketing development: technical product sheets, case studies, white papers ● Video creation: product demos, use case visualizations, client testimonials, hiring videos ● PR & media partnerships: webinars, earned and paid media in trade newsletters, specialized outlets in mapping and GIS. ● Contributed to iMerit’s employee growth from 800 to 6,000 employees and the closing a a USD 20Mn Series B round in February 2020. Website traffic grew 25X, top of funnel inbound leads grew 30X. ● LotusFlare’s workforce grew by 45% to 200 people, and won a major telecom industry award in 2019. San Francisco-based Open Garden is the creator of FireChat, the first messaging app that works without the Internet. The company’s mission is to connect the next 5 billion devices through peer-to-peer connections. Open Garden has won the Financial Times’ Boldness in Business Award and the SXSW Innovation Award.● Contributed to strategic communications, go to market planning and new features launches around the world to grow the app's user base to 10Mn globally ● Led the execution of marketing plans by hiring and managing a team of 3 full-time staff and 30 part-time contributors in Manila ● Closed partnerships with 3 media companies and one large government agency who used FireChat as a platform for news and public safety alert distribution. In June 2016, FireChat rose to #1 app on the App Store and #5 across categories on Google Play in the Philippines. ● Prospected 200 app publishers globally to distribute the company’s SDK. It is published by Wieden + Kennedy, the largest independent advertising agency in the world. ●Established the magazine’s domestic and international distribution network from zero to 300 outlets across specialized retail, newsstands, e-commerce. ● Built its advertising base from scratch, drawing in recurring clients like Levi's, Heineken and Absolut ● Worked with in-house developers and external vendors to build our responsive, rich media website: motherlandmagazine.com.

Babel Press is a video news agency founded in 2007. It produces award-winning programs for leading broadcasters in Europe, including ARTE, Canal+ and France 24. ● Managed a team of seven people on the production of 200 news features and 25 documentaries across Asia ● As the company size grew from ten to thirty employees in two years, set up company-wide cost tracking and administrative processes ● Handled cash flow: organized production budgets, raised and tracked client invoices, supervised payroll ● Established a new division to produce corporate films for companies and international organisations such as UNHCR, Air Liquide and Alstom.
