I have led an incredible career as an aerospace engineer and executive, including time launching rockets and working with astronauts at SpaceX. Having worked at groundbreaking, innovative companies, I know that engineering is critical in solving the largest issues of our lifetime. To truly change the world for the better and do things that have never been done before, we need to encourage and empower a diverse engineering workforce. I am a passionate diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate and have spent my life building and running DE&I initiatives and STEM outreach for girls in all organizations, companies, and communities I support. I built Stellar Tech Girls to create an empowering STEM program for girls and non-binary kids in Madison, Wisconsin. We provide a welcoming, fun environment where girls are excited to go with their friends. Our unique curriculum builds girls of confidence who are not afraid to take on challenges because they have the tools to problem solve like an engineer.
