Oversaw advocacy and public policy (APP) communications department strategy development and implementation, including budgeting and ongoing budget management for APP activities. Also provided strategic counsel to PATH programs on communication strategies to achieve policy goals, and partner with senior policy officers to expand communications engagement in their US, in-country and global efforts to reduce reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health mortality and morbidity.

Developed and implemented media/communication strategies that generated media coverage of tobacco issues by international and in-country media. Served as a resource for Center staff, international and national NGOs, tobacco control allies, and the media. Developed and implemented communications strategies in collaboration with NGOs around the world in support of both national and international advocacy campaigns.
