Working in a regional position as KAM for the South Caribbean, during a pandemic with no travel has brought out even more creativity and innovation to the me and the team. It´s sometimes very frustrating but mostly rewarding when you have to challenge status quo, throw away processes and protocols that were consistently tried and proven, to try some things that were never even on your horizon. Then to see some of them fail, sadly .......but on the flipside, perhaps a weird and wacky idea starts and grows to fruition and miraculously explodes into something beyond your dreams! Success comes in many ways and it is when we are weak, that we are strong!

Impressive record of career advancement, earned several promotions for excellent performance and company dedication starting as a sales representative and concluding as a Sales and Marketing Manager. Scope of responsibility included all core executive leadership, operating management, sales, marketing, human resources, and finance.

Developed marketing initiatives to build the company's brands locally, regionally & extra-regionally through territory expansion and new product development. Rapidly acquired comprehensive knowledge of the marketplace and developed detailed business plans to capitalize on revenue growth opportunities. Functional areas of responsibility included pricing, vendor relationships within the wholesale, retail and food service markets, along with advertising, packaging design and product development.

Managed the company's publications such as the Guyana Tourist Guide and Guyana Airways In-Flight magazine. The scope of work included writing articles, sourcing and coordinating stories & photos shoots, editing, travel to the interior locations, soliciting advertising, supervising the layout and artwork, invoicing and collections.
