Coupled with Marina's ability to captivate an audience and lead a room, Marina is an invaluable leader to any team that she is leading or a member of. Conduct one-on-one’s and group coaching with residents. -Impact: Generated over 11,000 volunteer hours, trained 70 residents, coached 35 residents, built two playgrounds, conducted a multi-year community impact survey project, leveraged 54 partnerships and acquired over $315,000 in grant funding and in-kind donations. *Capacity Building: Provide technical assistance to generate bottom-up community development solutions, including: Santa Ana Active Streets, a resident-led equity-driven active transportation coalition focused on creating safe and equitable streets. -Impact: Created an organizational structure, achieved fiscal sponsorship and created a policy platform to guide future advocacy efforts.. These systems enabled us to recruit and manage over 60 volunteers, engage over 5,000 residents, and acquire over $250,000 in funding. *Direct Service: Coordinate three neighborhood revitalization events.
