Highlighted through these efforts is Marina’s dedication and passion driven expertise to build community alongside community by fostering partnerships between community members, elected officials and the non-profit, public, and private sectors. With an all-inclusive approach and community led vision, Marina brings lived experience and professional expertise in addressing community identified issues and supporting our communities to voice their experiences. Coupled with Marina's ability to captivate an audience and lead a room, Marina is an invaluable leader to any team that she is leading or a member of. As a supervisor, Marina fostered a working environment that sought to bring the best out of the team by encouraging us to remain true to ourselves and to face our tasks with intent. We were always encouraged to share our ideas, thoughts, reflections and research in an effort to increase our collective knowledge and provide best practices to those that we serve. Marina is a great teacher, making sure to share knowledge catered to each individual's learning style, and equally important the willingness to listen and learn from team members as well. An inspiring leader, I most admire Marina's fearlessness to stand up to all challenges for a better tomorrow. I recommend Marina."
