I am the Director of Circle of Life Rediscovery CIC and The Outdoor Teacher Ltd. Both organisations are committed to transforming education, health and family through nature. I am a national expert in nature-based education & training and I have extensive experience in the development of the Forest School and Forest Kindergarten movement. Having worked alongside the NHS for over 15 years, i have seen first hand how nature supports our physical and mental health and provides many opportunities to learn and gain new perspectives. I am an endorsed trainer for the Forest School Association and I am the author of two books, 'Learning with Nature' and 'The Essential Guide to Forest School and Nature Pedagogy' (released May 2021).Since 1989 I studied Environmental Education (MA), Environmental Management (BSc) and Social Research (MSc).I love to collaborate with like-minded people - who want to make a difference! We know that nature-based practice can transform education, health and family and we have a wealth of scientifically proven research that demonstrates the benefits of nature on the development of young people and children. After 30 years learning and sharing the knowledge, I understand how much it can help the people and those that need it most.
