As the CEO of Oncoliq, I am passionate about leading a biotech startup dedicated to developing innovative liquid biopsy technology for early cancer detection. At Oncoliq, we use microRNA analysis from simple blood samples to identify cancer in its earliest stages, making diagnosis faster, less invasive, and more accurate. Our mission is to transform cancer diagnostics and improve patient outcomes by bringing cutting-edge scientific research into practical, real-world applications.With over 20 years of experience in cancer biology, I bring both my research expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to the forefront of healthcare innovation. My goal is to help advance personalized medicine by creating more accessible and effective tools for cancer screening.Prior to founding Oncoliq, I led a research group at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) in Argentina, where I focused on cancer biology and the tumor microenvironment. As a leader in this field, I directed a team that made significant contributions to understanding how the tumor environment influences cancer growth and resistance to treatment. This leadership experience has been instrumental in shaping the vision and direction of Oncoliq.In addition to my professional work, I’m married and the proud mother of three children. I love cooking and sports, specially kitesurfing and running.
