Current Position: Administration and interpretation of the Collective Agreement and Industrial Relations policies for SaskTel and its subsidiaries, DirectWest & SecurTek, ensuring current human resource practices comply with relevant employee standards, privacy requirements, labor and human rights legislation. Negotiation of the agreements for SaskTel (Federal) and DirectWest & SecurTek (Provincial) including development of bargaining positions & strategies, research and investigation of information and data to substantiate the Company’s position. Including effective preparation of the emergency operation plans. Consultation and influential coaching, education and support to all levels of management (including Executive and Legal) aiding in investigation and written correspondence which may include; discipline, grievance, arbitration and/or human rights preparation.Facilitation of joint union/management committees and internal mandatory industrial relations training courses to managers. Managing attendance management, workplace accommodation and the process for redeployment of surplus employees, including proper notification and negotiations, while monitoring wage maintenance and recall of employees to minimize costs.o Such accountability practices support the Corporation and its employees’ and help reduce any potential concerns and corresponding unwarranted costs as it relates to grievances/arbitrations (settlements, associated costs, overhead) and/or human rights complaints. o I have demonstrated my ability to build and leverage strong positive working relationships earning trust and respect aiding in influential coaching, education, negotiation, decreased costs and revenue growth, just to name a few.
