In supporting the research project “Endemicity, Care & Gender: Towards Developing Resilience in Malaysia’s Essential Care Workforce and Infrastructure”, my role encompasses:1. Collaborate closely with The Big Picture (TBP) and the RE:CARE research team to develop and execute a comprehensive media engagement strategy across social media, print, TV, and radio.2. Lead the creative direction and oversee the production of comics, animations, and videos, ensuring alignment with RE:CARE objectives and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.3. Act as a liaison between the RE:CARE team and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration, strategic alignment, and successful project outcomes.4. Manage budgets and resources efficiently to support the successful execution of the media engagement strategy and related projects.

1. Spearhead advocacy campaigns aiming to eradicate violence against women and promote gender equality in Malaysia.2. Responsible for managing advocacy campaign, including planning, coordination, and execution to reform public policies and societal behaviors.3. Provide leadership to a team of Advocacy Officers, guiding them in leading campaigns and engaging policymakers and stakeholders.4. Develop and disseminate campaign messaging across various media channels while conducting public policy analysis and offering recommendations to policymakers.5. Oversee WAO's news media relations, strategically coordinating English and Bahasa Malaysia messaging and nurturing partnerships with media outlets.6. Ensure WAO's website content aligns seamlessly with our advocacy messaging.7. Uphold a strong commitment to WAO's feminist principles, values, and our shared vision for gender equality and the eradication of violence against women.

1. Ensure readiness of 20 FINCO schools in Penang to participate in the programme by working closely with relevant local authorities and service providers.2. Build capacity of school counsellors through training and continuous monitoring of progress, goals and milestones across professional development plans.3. Develop, curate and conduct holistic career planning workshops and training for school counsellors and secondary students.4. Ensure effective implementation of safeguarding policies for child protection, health, safety and data protection.5. Collate relevant data including demography, needs and issues arising and prepare monthly progress reports.6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, 7. FINCO Backbone, schools and members, local community and others.8. Conduct research to understand local context, improve on programme planning and provide feedback to FINCO backbone.9. Collate and develop impact stories through 1-on-1 interviews with counsellors, students, FINCO 10. Activators & Backbone that are shared with the wider FINCO network and included on various communication channels.

Supported the digital media and campaigns team across three offices in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta:i) Responsible for developing digital strategies and planning, producing, and implementing digital campaigns for Greenpeace Southeast Asia projects.ii) Originating copy and editing submissionsiii) Researching and implementing digital services for campaigning

For the 3rd High Level Meeting on Child Rights, the team and I worked on materialising UNICEF's Asia-Pacific Youth Innovation Challenge in a span of 6 months, covering 18 participating countries. My role encompassed the following:1. Leading communications and outreach for the project which involved 18 participating UNICEF country offices and representatives which led to 640 proposal submissions in a span of 1 month. 2. Supporting the role of Project Head for the planning and execution of the Youth Innovation Bootcamp - from logistics to marketing, taking on several roles and assignment along with a supportive team of 5-7.3. Leading communication and outreach efforts, relaying programme specifics and managing deadlines with stakeholders from the UNICEF host office in Malaysia to 18 participating countries, participants, mentors, suppliers, trainers and guests.4. Hosting and managing the needs of participants, organising and ensuring that the "chaperone system" was in place and appropriate logistics support the specific needs of youth participants (few of whom were minors).

1. Supported the running and development of Amnesty International UK’s student groups around the UK, as part of the advisory committee of elected student representatives.2. Oversaw student networks and activities in the Southeast region of the country while working on specific areas of Amnesty’s work like campaigning, communications and fundraising.3. Supported and represented student activists across the UK, to ensure student voices are heard within Amnesty International UK.4. Planned and organised student events such as Action for Change and the National Student Conference, which bring student activists together from around the UK to meet each other, share successes, brainstorm challenges and set ambitions for the year. 5. Collated bi-annual reports from student groups across the UK, which were used for reference during policy debates & constitutional reforms.
