As part of transitioning to the MLC blanket license as of Jan 1, 2021, Spotify, and other DSPs who previously operated under the compulsory license framework must provide a cumulative report of historic unpaid royalties relating to usage periods going back to service launch in the US. This report is made up of financial statements detailing the remaining accrued royalties for tracks on Spotify for all past periods.The main challenge was the fact that it was the first time Spotify had to provide this information. There was also very short turnaround time between receiving the HFA source data and producing the final exports for MLC. There were only 11 calendar days to be exact. It was an intense team effort.- Derived technical requirements from various discussions on the subject. - Designed the Data Model.- Wrote code to load, QA, clean, calculate, validate and export the data.- Performed adhoc analysis.Technology: GCP for data storage. HDSOR Project - Consulting Engagement through Caserta ConceptsHDSOR is 1.5yrs project to rebuild outdated NYT Print Data Warehouse on Google Cloud platform. The new Data Model allows to analyze NYT Print business with greater accuracy and much deeper levels of granularity while improving the overall performance due to GC technology. FP&A BI Solution Project - Consulting engagement through Caserta ConceptsOn this project our team had an opportunity to build the whole Global BI Solution from the ground up. Global BI Solution offered new analytical capabilities and produced significant savings for the client by replacing large portion of the enterprise BW functionality.The solution is 100% Cloud based and included Data Warehouse in Netezza, Informatica as an ETL and Microstrategy as BI tool. The data sources consisted of Hyperion, SAP, Manugistics and Local Markets planning data. The goal was to achieve connectivity all the way from the Hyperion FMI data to the SAP Local Ledgers to the SAP Sales Orders. - The overall solution offered Finance users the ability to analyze the P&L statutory reports on Local GL and even Orders detail level. This has never been available to them before. - Another big win was the ability to apply Fx conversion to Local Ledger and Sales Order data on a fly using Hyperion Fx RatesMy role on this project was to - work with the business clients to understand business requirements- work with HFM and SAP SMEs to clarify technical requirements- work with the Data Architect, ETL Architect and Microstartegy Architect on the end to end implementation- coordinate our team's deliverables on multiple workstreams with competing priorities- drive the completion of tasks on time with highest standards of quality- plan and execute UAT, complete documentation, train users globally

Lead Warehouse transition to a new vendor- Initiated process improvements and quality control that allowed to cut on support hours by 30%- Managed portfolio of 19 projects for the total of $1,100,000 - Managed support teams with two vendors for the total of $850,000- Improved business processes and vendor communication that allowed to streamline the quarterly financial planning and eliminate delays in delivery- Came up with initiative to provide Financial Planning and Accounting team with BI tool that will bring about $350k in savings by eliminating adhoc requests to vendors.
