I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlandia. I hold a Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on Biochemical Engineering, from the Federal University of São Carlos. As a Researcher in the field of Biochemical Engineering, I aim to translate technical-scientific knowledge into solutions for the development of more effective, safe, and sustainable microbiological processes. Over the past years, as a Researcher, I have focused on the development, optimization, and scale-up of biotechnological processes, with my main responsibility being to assist in the design and execution of customized experimental designs.Given the unique nature of each bioprocess, I have utilized different biotechnological systems, operational strategies, and methodologies as tools for understanding and improvement, which has provided me with a solid understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP), aseptic culture development, sample preparation, and physicochemical analysis. Additionally, I have gained technical skills in operating bioreactors (stirred tank and pneumatic), executing analytical techniques (HPLC, UV/VIS, FT-IR, gravimetry, pH meter, and rheometer) to assess the composition and properties of biocompounds, as well as separation and purification techniques (filtration, liquid-liquid extractions, liquid chromatography, and adsorption) in downstream steps to isolate and purify the target biocompounds.Working as a Researcher has provided me with constant learning in terms of developing skills in critical thinking and analysis, cognitive flexibility, time management and productivity, and collaborative problem-solving in multidisciplinary settings.e-mail: marina72eq@gmail.comtelephone: +55(034) 99172-5303
