Current• Provide strategic advice to companies, governments, and international organizations on international economic law and public affairs.• Deliver strategic insights to private clients, offering policy directions emerging from key international organizations such as the WTO, UNCTAD, WIPO, WHO, EU, UNEP, UNECE, WB, WCO, and OECD.• Gather intelligence, design advocacy positions, and facilitate partnerships for clients on specific regulatory or market access matters, with a special focus on the FMCG sector.• Lead negotiations on Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to achieve better market access, cost savings, and supply chain efficiency for private clients (achieved annual savings of 200 million USD for one client).• Assess the dynamics of international treaty negotiations and their potential impact on various private sector players, including trade, environmental, and health treaties.• Represent clients in business associations such as the International Chamber of Commerce, Business Europe, and OECD BIAC, and contribute to the development of industry positions.• Conduct studies and capacity building for the private sector and governments on topics such as trade in services, e-commerce, market access, Free Trade Agreements, and tackling regulatory issues.• Act as a team leader on various research projects and publish in the field of international economic law and organizations (see publications section).• Manage additional global affiliates based in Asia and Africa for consultancy projects.Trade Pacts is an international advisory firm specializing in international trade and public affairs.
