Leading chemical company dedicated to the cultivation of forest resources, wood and biomass for transformation into Cellulose and Renewable Energy. 1600 employees. 830.8 million euro sales.MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTSI was leading the team of laboratory professionals (6 analysts + temporary employees). I have optimized human resources taking advantage of synergies by getting a high performance team to achieve ambitious targets by rotation and staff training (65% reduction). Leadership and motivation to change. Transfer, design and implementation of all R&D laboratories including pilot plant, refining, physical properties, chemical tests, microscopy and instrumental techniques, warehouse, maintaining the analytical capacity (70 % reduction of the site)I was keeping the Quality Standards as Reference Laboratory of ENCE company. I laid down our regulations and procedures. I supervised the fulfilment of standards and equipments contrasts (CEPI, CTS intercomparison). Close collaboration in the early detection and resolution of incidences with lab managers of the factories before assuming non-conformities.I had acquired and started up new instrumental equipments: FTIR: bed+ATR+microscope (2006), performing the maintenance, calibration and resolution of technical problems. Important savings in investment promoted by evaluation and negotiation of suppliers (35 % discount in equipments and saving about 10000 € per year in after-sale services), which allowed the development of new analytical methodologies obtaining significant improvements in characterization of complex samples, rapidity and quality of results and prevention of occupational hazards. CDTI projects, collaboration with public and private research centers.MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTSI have been leading a team of professionals composed of 1 senior technician, 8 laboratory analysts, and graduated trainees. Staff training in tests, in handling of equipments and in prevention of occupational hazards. I have been managed and planned efficiently the work of chemical, instrumental and microscopy laboratories, taking advantage of synergies. I have been acquired and started up new instrumental equipments: Py-GC/MS (year 2000); TOC (2003); FTNIR (2004); GC (2005); performing the maintenance, calibration and resolution of technical problems.
