YAAACE’s Corporate Civic Engagement & Corporate Capital Strategy seeks to partner with Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 corporations to introduce children and youth from marginalized and under-resourced communities to the varying dynamics of Corporate Canada. The Strategy seeks to expose communities, in particular children and youth from marginalized, racialized and under-resourced communities to the pathways that will transition them from margins of society to center of hope, opportunities and possibilities.Expectations from Corporate Canada:Investment: How extensively and strategically the company applies its resources to community engagement including employee time and skills, cash, in-kind giving and leadership.Integration: How a company's community engagement program supports business interests and integrates into business function. Institutionalization: How the company supports community engagement through its institutional policies, systems, and incentives.Impact: How a company measures the social and business impact of its community engagement program.

In partnership with YAAACE and APMA, coordinated and administered the distribution of $12M in funding through the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development to support 1300 participants, providing invaluable experience & training with an average placement length of 3-6 months, resulting in on-the-job experience, upskilling and career development.Negotiated and forged partnerships between employers & community partners to build attraction & accessibility leading to structured pathways for underrepresented groups such as youth, women, people with disabilities & racialized communities.Monitored the progress and supported retention efforts of participants through individualized job-specific coaching, yielding 1300 positive outcomes in career advancement and job placements within the automotive sector.
