I can wear many hats in a team and feel comfortable doing so.I studied Computer Systems Engineering at the ITESM with a brief, but awesome stint at EPITECH.After, college I went to the Recurse Center and had the best time of my life building cool software projects, like a Dropbox clone or my own ad-blocker. I’m passionate about Infrastructure, Information Security, Ruby, and TypeScript.When I’m away from my keyboard you can find me singing, dancing Rueda de Casino, or riding my bike. I dream of riding the Baja Divide one day.

As a Senior Software Engineer, I've got additional responsibilities and projects. Amongst my favorites you can find:- Main technical point of contact for enterprise customers. I'm the technical expert that integrated Wootric onto our customer’s apps. I coordinated our customers' teams to design a strategy that met their needs and ultimately resulted in a successful installation of Wootric.- Maintained and strengthened our integrations with Segment and Intercom. The responsibility didn't stop at coding, it was my job to handle the relationship with the engineers at those companies and I delivered two successful updates.- End-User attribute importer. I built a feature that allows our customers to bring end-user attributes from any given survey channel to another. For example, you can bring your Salesforce data onto your web surveys thanks to that feature.- Wootric JS SDK is now on TypeScript. It started as my hobby project and thanks to the team and me TypeScript made it all the way to production.

I've been heavily involved in the development of the product. Some of the features I directly worked on are:- Concurrent Survey Processing Optimization: design and developed an algorithm that allowed our platform to scale the number of workers use to process surveys- Email Template Engine: developed an internal tool that allowed the team to easily integrate with 3rd party email providers. i.e. Mailchimp, Salesforce, etc- Support for new metrics (CES/CSAT): expanded the capabilities of the Wootric App and dashboard to make it able to send and process CES/CSAT surveys- Support for email surveys: Introduced a new channel to send surveys in Wootric: email- Support for surveys via Intercom Messenger: developed an app to send surveys using Intercom Messenger. Currently available via the Intercom App Store- Intercom Inbox App development: developed an app to visualize Wootric data inside Intercom Inbox. Currently available via the Intercom App StoreActively working with the following technologies AWS, Heroku, GPC, Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, bash and occasionally objective-C
