Hi everybody! My name is Marina, I am the Global Operations Manager at InboundCycle and I have a Ph.D. in Quantum Physics. My background is in science because I have always been interested in knowing why things work the way they do. As I grew, when it was the time to pick a specialty in college, Physics was my choice. I finished my studies and became a researcher at the University of Barcelona, where eventually earned my Ph.D. in 2013.After that, I decided to take a break from science and begin a career in the Digital industry. I joined InboundCycle as employee number 5, and we have rapidly grown since then to become one of the top 10 Inbound Marketing Agencies in the world. InboundCycle is formed by a group of people who share the same values. By focusing on values before skills, we assure that we deliver extraordinary results to our customers while InboundCycle remains a great place to work.I have held a variety of positions at InboundCycle, which include: IT and development Director, Software & Web Developer, Growth Hacker, Product Specialist and Team Leader. When performing my duties I have developed the following skills:• Expert Django developer. Django is a web development framework of the Python programming language. I have mastered Django the last few years, and also learned a good deal of front-end development frameworks.• Hubspot product specialist. Hubspot is the most powerful Inbound Marketing app in the market. At InboundCycle we have built lots of solutions for our customers based on Hubspot. As the main technical specialist, I have learned how Hubspot can be customized and which is the best way to do it. • Team Manager. I have worked with international teams of software engineers and content creators. As the person in charge of the solution, I have learned to assess risks and create the right environment for a successful delivery.
