The role of the Research Scholar is to conduct research on a topic that relates to the Center for Learning and Academic Success (CLAS) with the goal to improve the center. My research was on knowing effective methods to learn and tutor math without torturing students especially who are struggling with math. The research was organized and presented in February at the CLAS Conference.
