I spent a year abroad in the United Kingdom furthering my education to gain an international perspective of the Business and Communications world. In doing so I have been able to experience the world and what it has to offer. This has inspired me to be more active in my roles and pursue my career further. During the pandemic I decided to use it as an opportunity to expand my reach and grow my interests. I completed over three new certifications in HR (CIPD), Digital Communications and PR. I moved back to the UK to pursue my career further and began working with NHS Lothian in Edinburgh as a Project Assistant (HR Administrator) for their Test and Protect team. I then became an HR Systems administrator with over 10,000 staff to manage across multiple integrated systems. I have recently returned to Canada and am continuing to build my career, now moving into the software field with Univerus as their HR generalist. I am excited to grow with this company and build upon what I have started.
