I create compelling pitch decks and my work in documentary production has involved coordinating logistics, securing interviews, and facilitating complex shoots. I ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule.As a development researcher, I contribute to Wondery’s The Spy Who, which explores the real-life stories of spies, and as a field producer, I’ve worked with The New York Times on Portugal's groundbreaking approach to drug addiction. I’m passionate about creating narratives that delve into deep character studies and spark meaningful conversations.I've researched and developed innovative tech-focused stories for TRT World centred around the environment, health and art, emphasising the societal impact of emerging technologies. My role involved conceiving original show ideas, conducting in-depth research, and collaborating with production teams to create segments that inform and entertain. My writing on art has appeared in the Financial Times, Magnum Photos, and the British Journal of Photography, and I’ve reported on human rights for the Thomson Reuters Foundation and News Deeply. Previously, I worked as an editor and foreign correspondent. I hold a BA in Journalism with Psychology from City, University of London, and a certificate in Documentary Film Directing from Cuba’s International Film and Television School. I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.I love what I do because I believe in the transformative power of art and storytelling.
