Marine Champon has more than 15 years corporate communications and crisis communication experience, with 2 years in an international NGO on development and fair trade, eight years in the Public Affairs and Government Relations/Lobbying departments of a Fortune 10 multinational energy company and eight years as Corporate Affairs Director of an international leader in the agribusiness sector. Throughout her career, Marine has managed several environmental and health crisis as well as social and financial crisis as leader of the emergency response communication team. Her role has included crisis communication strategy, internal alignment of messages and positions, preparation of Q&A's and media response. She has also implemented emergency response guidelines in international companies and trained and prepared managers for public speaking and news media interviews.

NGO DIALOGUE- Within the framework of the will of ExxonMobil to structure Sustainable Development policy, piloting from A to Z of the 1st NGO Dialogue in Europe between the Top management of ExxonMobil based in Dallas and the leaders of the main NGOs in Europe (Greenpeace, WWF, Transparency International, Human Rights Watch, etc.).ADVOCACY & ISSUE MANAGEMENT - Identification of the main business stakes for the Group on the basis of the White and Green Books of the EU (main issues: REACH, the new European legislation on chemicals, Phtalates, Climate Change, Energy Efficiency).- Coordination of the internal experts to define the advocacy strategy and the messages.SUPPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT & LOBBYING- Sherpa of ExxonMobil Chemical Vice-president based in Houston for all the subjects related to the European lobbying. - Representative of ExxonMobil Chemical within the European professional associations of lobbying (CEFIC, American Chamber of Commerce, etc.).- Direct lobbying with the identified key Members of the European Parliament and the members of the European Commission.
