I am a Senior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a business degree in Finance with a collateral in sales. I have always set high goals for myself so that I can accomplish bigger things in life - time management and organizational skills are two of my biggest strengths. With my current career in real estate, I always make sure to keep my days organized and have specific plans for the way I go about them. I also did this during my time spent as the President of the Real Estate Club at the University of Tennessee. Part of my role was to organize biweekly meetings and networking to find guest speakers that would provide useful knowledge to the clubs members. My communication skills are another strength of mine. The key to success in real estate and business in general is having effective communication and making sure that I am always on the same page as my clients and colleagues. A majority of my business interests lie within the field of real estate. Buildings and land are something that may not intrigue most, but to me it is fascinating - I grew up surrounded by real estate talk. My experiences with communication, networking, and team work have well prepared me to further pursue my career in real estate. For example, working with other agents to help close a deal, and even working together with classmates for group projects are experiences that have benefited me immensely. My career goal after college is to open my own real estate brokerage.
