• Prepare & verify scheduling for the Routine Maintenance in ensuring optimization (high-levels of productivity & cost effectiveness)• Ensure compliance with agreed maintenance standards and reporting• Monitor Operational performance daily and ensure that SLA deliverables are met• Assist with Maintenance activity planning and resource allocations for the region• Liaise with Huawei Contract Management daily regarding performance and attend meetings• Materials Management activities and Fleet management related to maintenance activities.• Maintain updated database of active contractors in conjunction with the Regional Administrators & ensure signed-off of database. • Negotiate SLAs & rates with sub-contractors in consultation with Procurement services• Manage sub-contractors & ensure compliance to SLAs • Monitor progress on completion of open calls on the system on daily basis• Ensure proof of deliverables by providing evidence for completed work.• Manage and monitor all ADHOC related work on a daily basis and ensure compliance with contract deliverables.• Ensure compliance to Occupational Health & Safety Act• Ensure that health & safety files are in place for all teams & sub-contractors at all times• Ensure that regular audits are conducted to measure adherence.• Minimize expenses relating to Operational activities • Manage regional budget and analyses performance and variances on a monthly basis• Financial reporting• Manage performance, discipline & conflicts within the Maintenance team & effect corrective action in line with company policies/procedure• Ensure that performance contracts (PDMS) are in place & conduct timeous performance appraisals • Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring & development of the Maintenance team & ensure PDPs for all staff are in place • Ensure adequate staff placement i.e. prepare suitable shift-roster & manage/approve applicable leave for staff• Manage absenteeism & effect timeous remedial action
