Marinus is an experienced economist who provides economic expertise in competition (law) matters. Examples of specific analyses he can conduct, are: review economic evidence of a possible infringement, conduct market or desk research and evaluate policy from a competition perspective.He had worked over 10 years for the competition authorities of the Netherlands and Curaçao and a short period for a consultancy. He can lead or assist in various types of projects, such as antitrust investigations and notifications of a merger or acquisition. In particular, he has a lot of experience with conducting so called "market studies" and "competition assessments", for example in the financial services sector. Outside of work, Marinus enjoys improving his carpentry skills and spending time with his daughter, family and friends.He is organized, steady and dedicated.
