Marin Velkovski is an experienced import manager with a proven track record in the food production industry across Europe. He is skilled in negotiations, business planning, FMCG, analytics and import. After receiving his Masters degree in Entrepreneurship in 2013, he continued making academic contributions to his field, publishing industry reviews in multiple international magazines. He has maintained his expertise through ongoing engagement at several International conferences, such as the "The Neuwaldegg Vienna Seminar", “Macedonia2025 Summit”, in addition to training events in the field of project management, public relations and entrepreneurship, including the “Cisco Certificate” for starting a business. In 2017, Marin was one of 40 managers selected for the “MBA Leader Project” organized by Macedonia2025 as part of the “Richard Ivey School of Business” program - "University of Western Ontario" – Canada. Marin has been an import manager at “Ana Kom Dooel” – Skopje since 2011. He has been instrumental in growing Ana Kom imports from 1200t per annum to 7000t in 2018 and establishing the business as the number one largest importer of frozen poultry products in Macedonia. His efforts represent the commercial skills and managerial capabilities he has shown in the industry and offer an example of the importance of human capital in corporate development. His objectives remain ambitious, looking to expand the product portfolio while encouraging all employees to be intra-entrepreneurs, sharing innovative ideas for new products and placing customer’s needs at the center of decision making.
