For as long as I can remember, I have always been enamored with technology. Whether taking apart my dad's old laptops to building my own PC using the leftover parts, or finding clever software solutions to my problems, I've always been a bit of a geek. I've always loved the process of learning and to this day I constantly challenge myself to learn as much as I can about whatever it is that I am working on. My passions at work include scripting, coding and process improvement however, I like to think that I am well versed in much more than that, and my real value comes from my communication skills. I am great at connecting with subject matter experts or business resources to get a clear understanding of the problems and potential solutions before beginning a new project, while maintaining constant feedback during development to ensure that we find success with our endeavors.Recently in my career I have worked to develop and improve a relatively new Robotic Process Automation program by implementing Lean methodology into the RPA development and process improvement aspects of my work as the project manager and resident expert in automation. In 2021 the automations developed by our group helped to removed over 175,000 hours of work from the business, as well as improving the productivity and efficiency of our business as well. We've developed automations that work within the IBMi, Citrix environments, and our own internal applications to revolutionize and modernize our workplace. I am passionate about building my knowledge of coding - I view the process as a puzzle that I can solve, and I thrive off of having an interesting challenge in front of me.What resources can one new to coding such as myself leverage to enhance my education?
