My career began at USAA, where I built a strong foundation in excellence and integrity.Born and raised in Corpus Christi, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Business Administration from Texas State University and later completed a Masters of Professional Studies in Psychology of Leadership from Pennsylvania State University. I hold a Securities 65 License and am a registered advisor with our firm's RIA.Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. I'm married to Yvette Villanueva Barrera, the Vice President of Texas Financial Advisory, who playfully reminds everyone she's the "Boss Lady" at work and home.
