Material Planning Coordinator
Current-Synchronize all involved flows and parameters when a new style takes place; these are: Material development, BOM’s accuracy, supplier’s adoptions and sku’s data loading.-Work closely with Product Development and Procurement teams to maximize our local in region supplier’s potential and improve service to the plants.-Monitor suppliers’ execution in regards to timing, quantity and quality of materials; identify and resolve exceptions as needed.-Elevation of chronic or critical supplier performance issues to Category Management & Materials Planning management levels.-Identify improvement opportunities in the Supplies Planning processes.-Review material requirements and place new requisitions.-Ensure effective inventory utilization among plants by identifying excess materials, transferring where needed and driving improved inventory management practices.-Develop strategies to minimize exposure to obsolete raw materials on assigned categories.-Identify and submit proposed obsolete disposals.-Using advanced Excel skills to develop analyses to understand, monitor and resolve supply and inventory problems not adequately address by standard systems.-Conduct monthly Materials Planning Process Audits at facilities.-Ensure supplies availability at each facility at a category level.
