Lead the transfer of Unify's factory from Curitiba to East Europe, managing a project that included the whole Unify's product line as well as the necessary assets and technical skills transfer.

In addition to the functions of Quality Management, assumed the responsibility of the NPI(new product Introduction) and Project management at Siemens Enterprise Communications, site Curitiba.

Mantains a wide network with Siemens Enterprise Head Quarter partners. Leads a team of 40 people, responsible for obtaining funding and buy in for cross functional projects. Reports directly to SEN COO.Responsibilities include: -Quality & Environmental System: Activities related to Quality System management for Latin America. Elaboration and implementation of quality and environmental policies, certification and maintenance of ISO 9000, TS 16949, ISO 14000 as well as implementation of best practices in Quality Assurance. -Supplier Quality Management:Introduced, in agreement with Strategic Procurement and Head Quarter (Germany), a worldwide Supplier Audit Program, in order to align the Siemens requirements with supplier understanding. Introduction of Outgoing Inspection at local suppliers reduced from 11% to less than 3% the common and repetitive Quality problems. - Processes and Products Quality Assurance:Reduction of Quality problems in 50% (2005 base); introduction of IPC Standard for Quality monitoring, Outgoing inspection, shelf life materials control, 5S program and 6 Sigma. - Product Engineering:Management of the engineering activities, leading the introduction of new Products at the manufacturing plant, designing, production flows and tests, defining the necessary investments as well as evaluating potential costs optimization. Participation in the New Customers Development Processes, providing technical information, RFQ’s (Request for Quotation), as well as managing the phase in / phase out of products. - Continuous ImprovementCo-managed with PRTM Management Consulting, a project for introducing techniques of Performance Assurance at SEN Operations. Rapid organizational change is currently happening in order to transform the site of Curitiba in an Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) company. - Other realizations:Participated in Quality Audit processes in the plants of Germany and Greece.

Responsibilities included in transferring of Enterprise production from Witten (Germany) to Curitiba. Involved in all Enterprise products with strong people management skills and ability for high tolerance to stress in while working assertively, face to the high risks involved. The project represented an investment of € 4’0 but guaranteed a turn over(only production ) of 80’0/year and the continuity of the business worldwide (€ 4000’0/year).

- Responsible for qualification and quality monitoring of Suppliers for Telecom Industry. Actuated as interface and technical support to Procurement, Service, Logistic, R&D and Sales, for materials issues and “state of art” component technologies used in new Siemens developments. - Was responsible for the new PDM System (Product Data Management) introduction at Siemens Brazil, leading simultaneously, teams from KPMG (Germany), Eigner (Gemany).Represented a cost saving of €$ 3000K .

- Led 350 direct workers and a team of 12 engineers in activities regarding assembly and test of electronic modules (PCB’s), cables, mechanical parts and package. - Introduced best practices of manufacturing processes, like Kanban, 5S, CONWIP (constant work in Process) as well as the production process introduction of several Telecom products. - Training of 5 month in Berlin(Germany) as well as visit other Siemens sites: Corroios (Portugal), Milan(Italy), Berlin, Greifswald, Bruchsal, Leipzig and Munich

- Coordinated the activities of Test Equipments R&D resulting in more then 500 developed projects; led a team of 22 engineers. - Developed several test equipments used in the production line to assure the quality of Siemens Products and increase the flexibility of existing processes, bringing a substantial improvement of Siemens competitiveness.
