A seasoned litigator, Mario uses his diverse background and a long track record of successfully representing individuals and businesses throughout NY State and around the country. He is applying that experience with his law practice and ESG Strategies, a consulting business he co-founded that assists business assess, plan and implement groundbreaking and vanguard Environmental, Social and Governance principles.His law practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation; representing businesses of all sizes in a wide range of issues, including contract disputes, contract negotiations, dispute resolution and advising companies on best business legal and labor practices. He has represented clients throughout the Country and been involved in cases with national notoriety and with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake.A former managing partner at an international law firm, Mario left the ethos of a large firm to make the transition to a practice that specializes in fostering business and entrepreneurial relationships. His interest is not in "billing time" but helping businesses implement best practices and strategies that anticipate the future of business.Mario is well known throughout New York State for his support and assistance with various community action activities and initiatives, particularly in the veteran community. Mario is the former Chair of the Alliance Board and creator of VETCON (Veterans in Economic Transition), which is one of the largest in the country and the Northeast’s only veteran-specific annual conference. He is the president of the McNulty Veterans Business Center, which hosts and governs the Federal Area 2 VBOC, SBA veteran small business initiative; covering NY, NJ, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. He also created a Veteran Pro Bono Law Day project. Mario also is Chair of the Center for Advancement & Understanding of Social Enterprises (CAUSE), with the University of Albany School of Business. CAUSE promotes social entrepreneurship at the university and in the region by building on School of Business strengths in research, teaching and service, and by applying business expertise to benefit business, government and the nonprofit sector.
