I develop and execute events and special projects from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to contacting talent, setting up travel plans, negotiating terms, promoting the events, and hosting the event. I also attempt to generate revenue through other endeavors. This includes hosting two livestream shopping shows each week and sourcing exclusive opportunities for products and sales.

Manager of Patient Accounts (2007 – 2013)Managed a staff of ten, oversaw the electronic flow of claims between the hospital, intermediaries, and insurances. Controlled the flow of work to all staff members, created complex spreadsheets to analyze trends of rejections and determine root causes in order to correct for the future. Created policy and procedure for various aspects of the department’s work. Coordinated projects with other supervisors to build interdepartmental protocol. Reported to directors monthly and quarterly on issues and solutions to problems. Closely followed system issues in order to expedite claim filing and ensure timely submissions after scrubber rejections.Program Assistant (2005 – 2007)Alleviated the flow of denied claims between accounts receivable and utilization review. These claims were in appeal status with various insurance companies. Controlled bi-monthly reports outlining all activity concerning such denials, and distributed these reports to department managers. Delegated tasks to co-workers, and trained new staff members.Financial Representative (1999 – 2005)Duties gradually increase over this span. Called patients via an automatic dialer regarding outstanding medical balances, this included customer service with patients and insurance representatives, and heavy calculator math work. Controlled spreadsheets detailing call history of the department, distributed reports to upper management. Responsible for the daily and monthly reconciliation of a lockbox of incoming patient and insurance payments, kept track of payments via spreadsheets. Controlled several weekly and monthly Excel reports for distribution among Medicare-related managers. Maintained the flow of Inpatient Medicare and Blue Cross accounts. Involved in daily conversation with insurance representatives and patients in efforts to rectify denials.
