As a Production Management Engineer at Cargill, I apply my Chemical Engineering degree and my minors in Business and Engineering Project Management to execute and supervise capital projects, optimize unit operations, and troubleshoot operational failures in the Corn Milling industry. I have successfully completed and managed multiple projects worth over $400k in total, involving complex engineering calculations, contractor coordination, and risk analysis. I also collaborate with the operations team to ensure the safety and efficiency of a high hazard process, using PowerBI, SAP, Clarizen, and quantitative analysis tools. I have trained for and back filled the Shift Leader role, handling site emergency maintenance, environmental incidents, and medical and hazmat emergencies. I am passionate about providing opportunities to younger generations and learning from the principles of hard work and perseverance that my family has taught me.
