I cut my teeth in business at D1 Sports Training & Therapy. D1 gave me an opportunity to bridge my skills as a college athlete into real, tangible business skills. After realizing that i wanted a career anchored to my hometown (Greenville,SC). Real Estate, specifically new construction sales became my focus. First at Eastwood Homes, selling production built homes, then at Milestone Custom Homes, selling luxury custom homes. After 7 years and over 200 new construction transactions, I learned the art of setting expectations and really explored my interest in construction design, traditional neighborhood developments, neoclassical architecture and the psychology behind real estate sales/investing. My goal has always been to align my professional strengths with a community need. In 2017, while going through the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Greenville, Workforce/Affordable Housing and the inelastic demand for it became very clear to me. Partnering with a Certified Financial Planner from Raymond James, I began buying, improving and holding multifamily assets in the Upstate of South Carolina. Today we own just under 1,500 workforce apartment units ( 60%AMI - 80%AMI) and have partnered with business owners, municipalities and non profits as investors. Today my business partner and I are focused on learning about this Real Estate Private Equity world we find ourselves in, while continuing to champion workforce housing as a socially responsible investment.
