Perform duties as a Systems Administrator by placing into production an array of PowerEdge servers into a Windows 2003 environment, maintain all servers by ensuring their proper working order, and following standard procedures as mandated by Sarbanes Oxley. Network monitoring using various tools to provide intrusion detection, and monitoring of network traffic. Extensive meetings with clients to determine exact needs for optimal productivity. Build custom servers to exact specification to match business and end user needs. Responsible for all building security, including access level determination and user level administration. Built and maintained patch management server to update and maintain all Microsoft critical patches as well as Livestate server that performs incremental backups on financial servers to protect the servers in a disaster recovery manner. Maintained backups of all servers through BackupExec 10D with backups maintained by a Dell Powervault device. Implemented Trackit Enterprise server which keeps records of all help desk tickets and hardware and software auditing. Remote administration through Eblvd, Webex, Checkpoint VPN and Rilo cards. Blackberry Enterprise server creation and administration. 1st level support for all Blackberry’s issue within the environment. Documentation creation.
