Fighting is what I have done since I was 7, at 17 I won the USA Open Boxing Nationals. I lived and graduated high school while living and training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. After the 1984 Olympic Trails, I turned Pro... Now I am fighting MS and enjoying life, with my wife, kids, and grand kids... Happy life, happy wife, makes everyone HAPPY....

Volunteer Boxing Coach For Usa BoxingUsa Boxing, Inc. 1972 - Feb 2013Coaching amateur and pro boxers, and teaching them to be the best they can be!!When I was forced to retire from Boxing because I had MS, I figured since I knew nothing but BOXING, coaching seemed to be a good fit for me. I knew only how to fight but getting the same rush as a fight now as a coach was hard. I wasn't able to fight nor did I get all of the excitement as a coach... Kept working hard until I took one of my fighters to the JO Nationals, where I did see there was something for me. If I was going to be a coach I need to be the best(level IV now). There for I continue to learn, and try new things. I am still learning and continue to better my game, after coaching the USA Boxing team many times and now working pro's and MMA fighters. Well I am teaching MMA fighters how to fight when they are upright and BOXING is the best for them too. I love what I do!!! -

Pro BoxerL'Esperance 1984 - 2000World Wide...Turned pro going 16-0 before my first loss. I finished at 20-4-1w13KO's, I retired in 2000 after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis(MS). I had problems with double vision, and in my mind I had a torn retna and new the doctors would retire me, so I kept on fighting. Boxing had been my life since 7 years of age. After my last fight I knew something else could be wrong. I listened to my wife and went to see the doctor, I was knocked down 3 times by a fighter in my younger days wouldn't have ever been able to touch me.
