Target:Support and manage full projects within the body chassis unit and deliver engineering solutions to a high standard in collaboration with other R & D departments of Yamaha group.In charge of a team of 3 people for design and calculation activitiesDuties:- Layout study, design and evaluation of steel and aluminum frames, brake system , suspension links , and related parts and assemblies - Interpretation of parts working condition and relative Fem modeling- Failure analysis and resolution on critical components- Design for low cost manufacturing, production and assembly - Assign job within the team and to external resources to achieve the issue of drawings and to keep BOM updated.- Maintain technical relations with supplier and Yamaha Japan- Maintain project documentation and write technical reports on work performed

Target: Assisting the Project Engineer in the design of brake systems and structural components for vehicles as light alloy wheels and swing arms Duties: - Development of products from the definition of the customer demand,according to internal and to each country technical standards.- Vehicle braking performance calculation- Basic and advanced stress analysis / General Layout and Individual component design using both CAD and FEM software- Manufacturing follow-up and assembly check.- Experience in design of components obtained by sand casting, mould casting, die casting, press forging and machining processes.

Experience in the design of components obtained by machining and press forging like: - TRANSMISSIONS parts (gears - plate clutches - centrifugal clutches - CVTs - Rubber damper for chain torsion joints )- ENGINE PARTS (intake manifolds - reed valves - silent blocks)Application of drafting practices like geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and 1D/2D tolerance loop analysis , 2D and 3D CAD creation.
