Le attività svolte come Professional Maintenance Engineer sono state di studio, comprensione di funzionamento e parametrizzazione per la messa a punto di un sistema di visione COGNEX, dotato di telecamera In-Sight 8000, con illuminatore ad infrarossi, attraverso l'utilizzo del software In-Sight Explorer. La telecamera e l'illuminatore erano posti sulla flangia di un robot Comau per essere opportunamente movimentati sulle varie aree del Cruscotto GDX 952/949; tale sistema aveva il compito di controllare l'effettiva presenza di tutta la minuteria come viti, Tucker e Tucker di massa che a monte, nella stazione, venivano saldati sul pezzo.Come Professional Maintenance Co-Pillar le attività sono state quelle di supportare il team nel redigere e gestire la documentazione tecnica come Standard Maintenance Procedure e Machine Ledger, nel fornire servizi tecnici legati all'ambito manutenzione e partecipando inoltre al X° Audit WCM.Il tirocinio della durata di circa 600 ore lavorative, è servito anche come lavoro di tesi ed è stato effettuato durante gli studi del corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Informatica. In particolare, la tesi, dal titolo "Studio e parametrizzazione di un sistema di computer vision per il controllo di qualità su linee di produzione robotizzate" è stata sviluppata sul lavoro effettuato sulla stazione automatizzata Cruscotto GDX 952/949.

The requested activities were of parametrization, support, supervision and testing for the final certification and commissioning of two robotic stations that exploit a computer vision system (cameras+lasers). The first station had the task of automatically assemble the carbon roof with the body of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde. The second one was designed to take and analyze automatically the measurements of "gap&flush" on the car bodies with all the assembled parts. The internship lasted about 700 hours and it was also used to write the thesis for the Bachelor Degree infact it was done during the studies in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering. The thesis have the title: "Computer Vision applied to Industrial Automation" and it was developed on the carbon fiber roof assembling station.
