Riser Analyst
CurrentTechnical Skills:* Strength and Stability Analysis (API RP WSD, API RP 2A, BS EN 19902:2007, IP guidelines – Baur & Stahl methodology)* Global Dynamic Risers Analysis * Vortex Induced Vibration Analysis (VIV)* Wave Induced Fatigue and Current Induced Fatigue Assessment* Pile Driving Analysis.Software:Orcaflex; MathCad; Shear7; GRWEAP; Excel.Tasks:* Undertake Mechanical and Structural calculations, which adhere and comply to company standards, protocols and appropriate industry codes (API, DNV, ISO, BS, etc)* Perform Riser Analysis using relevant software / models* Create accurate and commercially focused quotes for Riser Analyst work* Engage proactively with customers / clients as necessary to undertake Riser Analysis work, including data collection and presenting/discussing results* Write and present reports on allocated project(s)* Update project activity via the project lifecycle process* Supply your work to approved checkers for interim audit, and to undertake the checking of other Riser Analysts work in accordance with company procedures* Pro-actively drive accurate forecasting in relation to project(s) allocated, highlighting to the project manager any identified variations to plan at the earliest opportunity* Participate actively in team meetings, seminars, reviews and project planning events* Assist in training and mentoring graduate analysts.
