"Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve" - Martin Luther King JrFrom a young age, my parents taught me that whenever I can help someone, I always should. Thankfully, my young brain really stuck on to this value. In my everyday life, I make it a personal mission to lend a helping hand, whether it’s in my personal life or in a professional setting. So when a teacher and mentor of mine introduced me to the field of Human Resources, I knew I had found my calling. Since then, I have made it a top priority goal to transfer my passion for service into my career and grow in the field of Human Resource Management. Working in customer service has constantly put me in a position where I'm interacting with customers, providing information, and serving as a connection between the consumer and the company. My time at The Home Depot trained me to be an effective communicator and improved my all around soft skills. As a sales associate, I served as a source of information and provided input whenever customers needed it. Moreover, Dallas Aquatics provided me with an environment where I was pushed out of my comfort zone, helping consumers solve any issues they were experiencing with our establishment or our service. I am now at a point where my mission is to transfer my experience to the field of Human Resources. I am ready for an opportunity to break into the field, and showcase my skills that I have acquired.
