Most of my experience as a consultant has been divided between small business owners, startups, and non-profit organizations. Each providing a diverse and challenging environment in which my core analyses are employed.For small businesses and startups, I focus on delivering a robust analysis of a client's venture, dissecting its areas of opportunity, and working with them to harmonize their vision with current trends, demographics, and policy changes. My services for non-profit organizations have included similar principles in analysis, but have been geared towards data and public policy analysis. These include feasibility studies, proprietary case study analysis, best practices compilations, and data tabulation; all of these elements as part of briefs and reports presented to community stakeholders and policymakers.

Constructed and maintained a database of all financial products offered in the Costa Rican development banking circuit.Designed and produced a prototype of an interactive tool for entrepreneurs, existing businesses and the general public for a direct and democratized access to financial grants and credit.Interviewed Key Business Leaders to write case studies detailing innovative business administration practices, success stories and best practices within the entrepreneurial sphere.

Studied financial regulation across four different regions concerning risk disclosure for publicly traded companies.Worked independently to cross-examine regulation, and set baseline definitions to harmonize data across different regions.Constructed a data base, along with data visualization for the relationship between risk disclosure compliance and perceived risks by the World Economic Forum.Designed a methodology for further research in the matter, along with relevant research materials for future publication.

During my year of service, I have worked to revamp existing tools to assess local data, and turn it into actionable insight for local stakeholders. This consisted of compiling and tabulating data for various initiatives and ongoing projects within the Office of Civic and Community Development (CCE). These duties also included accessing national and regional databases, and creating/ curating indicators to display data and show market deficiencies, legislative vacuums, and ultimately propose solutions for Miami's unique housing market.As a more specialized contribution to the CCE team, I provided data and policy analysis support research for the ongoing study of the Miami housing affordability crisis. This, in turn, was performed to understand the economic development of Miami- Dade County, identify areas of opportunity, and discuss best practices for future development while tackling geographical and public policy constraints for healthier housing development. I was exposed to diverse industries acting as an in-house economist for the region's leading law firm's office in Costa Rica. While in the department of Government & International Affairs, our goal was to act as a liaison between the clients and changes in public policy. My duties involved preparing literature in the form of briefs, newsletters and commentary for clients and counselors alike regarding public policy, market structures, and diverse industries. This entailed monitoring domestic, regional, and global markets to better assess changes in trends, policy, and stability that might affect a current o prospective client's venture or portfolio in Costa Rica or the region.

-Learned of the regulatory entities pertaining to the Costa Rican credit market and banking industry, while gauging impact of global economic crises on domestic portfolios.-Responsible for research, organization and tabulation of financial statements of important financial firms.-Briefed the Brokerage House Director on market and industry analysis.-Wrote commentary about economic context and the business environment for financial firms in study.
