EHS Officer DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Report directly to the Project Manager, EHS Manager and President of the AGA Company and will coordinate the implementation of the Safety & Management Systems, OSH Standards, Programs and Company Policies.2. Coordination with the EHS Manager, to implement the Safety Programs and Rules and Regulations within the jobsite.3. Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation that health and safety requirements are being observed, and that welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and property maintained.4. Determine the cause of any accident/ incident/ Near Miss and recommend means of preventing recurrence.5. Assist with training employees at all levels.6. Take part in discussions on injury, damage, and loss control.7. Foster within the company an understanding that injury prevention and damage control are an integral part of business and operational efficiency.8. Attend job progress meetings where safety is an item on the agenda. Report on job safety performance.9. Conduct project EHS meetings.10. Understand the requirements of company’s EHS Policy and Objectives.11. Inspect the work site daily and report of all injuries and damage at the site.12. Will ensure OHS Policy and Procedure is adhered to in the workplace and will be expected to take an assertive and proactive approach in promoting a Safe Work Ethics In the business and communities.13. Demonstrate interpersonal and relationship building skills; and 14. Demonstrate a good understanding of OSHS legislation and regulatory requirements.15. Keep a permanent record of all injuries and damage at the site.16. Keep a record of weekly safety meetings on site with subject and attendance.

HSE OFFICER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HCDC1. Report directly to the Project Manager and will coordinate the implementation of the Safety & Management Systems, OSH Standards, Programs and Company Policies.2. Coordination with the Safety Engineer, to implement the safety programs and Rules and Regulations within the jobsite.3. Coordination the provision of workplace rehabilitation, source and deliver safety and other training programs.4. Identify and recommend contemporary safety initiatives and assist managers and supervisors with safety and issues.5. Will ensure OHS Policy and Procedure is adhered to in the workplace and will be expected to take an assertive and proactive approach in promoting a Safe Work Ethics in the business and communities.6. Ensuring a culture of high standard of Workplace Health, Safety and Environment exists throughout the project.7. Communicate to all levels of the workforce.8. Demonstrate interpersonal and relationship building skills; and 9. Demonstrate a good understanding of OSHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
