I have been forming part of the BOV plc Group Internal Audit Department - IT Audit Team for more than 17 years starting out as an Information Systems Auditor and progressing to my present role of Senior Audit Manager - IT Audit. Over the last few years I have been actively responsible in drawing up of the Department's Business Plan and co-ordinating the planning and execution of a number of Audit and Consulting assignments. My experience is based on a sound combination of IT audit, risk assessment and consulting engagements across a range of software systems, applications, operating systems, databases and other technologies ranging from our company's core banking system, debit and credit card based systems, web applications, authentication systems and all the way to end user systems as well as physical and environmental security reviews of computer centres. Our assessments are based mainly on the ISO 27001 and CoBiT standards.
